Nova is in charge of creating tornados, thunderstorms, hurricanes, and other means of hazardous weather. His service is of means in a form of "destruction is creation", that starting anew is sometimes necessary, and exceptional only when called upon.

Generally flying solo (no pun intended), Nova is rough around the edges and hard to understand given his unusual job. His personality is as grim as the clouds he brings with him, and distant, unlike most pony-folk.
