Yeah, I understand the reason they did it was to prevent picture spam from SL, but they are far too anal about a lot of it, and for some people, we put a lot of work into AV's and use them as reference sheets since can't really afford tons of art to toss about instead. XD

Oh my, there's plenty of derp to go around, I assure you, but I'm kind of nitpicky when it comes to details; I had to unfocus the background in this manually... xD;

I meant more that the Avatars don't look like they are made out of plasticine as much anymore. I have a pretty okay Magnus one.... now to find the interest to play it again

Oh! Yes, most definitely, yes; it's definitely a lot easier to make a rather organic looking avatar, from what I understand, and now that they're implementing mesh support, I'm really excited to see what people can come up with.

SL is my main RPing platform now, as I like being able to 'see' the other person/people involved, but I'm usually on to just talk to my neighbors or work on photo composition -- like this piece! C:

Niiiiice. Yeah, I think you'll be good. Especially if you're using the Firestorm viewer. Word of caution if you do, though -- the Mesh-enabled beta has been broken for me, so you might have to dig around for the previous version. xD;

Don't worry, beta versions of anything never seem to work for me :P
