This is my twelfth and final image in a 12 image series of mine (one of the first series that is). I want to do 12 images of females, one a day for two weeks, to try and practice female form; as long as I'm doing that, I thought I might as well make reference images for each of my 12 races.

This is probably the hardest image to plan for in terms of drawing, because Crystolians, as the Change race of the Etherealm, have the ability to shapeshift. Although their forms are pretty uniform and regular, most give themselves some kind of individuality by giving themselves spines, plates, [extra] horns, removing their wings, and turning themselves feral.
As the Change race, Crystolians have the ability to use every element. This, combined with their shapeshifting ability, makes them quite the force to be reckoned with. However, their numbers are quite small, due to their reproductive system being entirely magical, and only able to produce offspring very rarely. In fact, Crystolians share almost no similarities with Earth-like species, not having identifiable lungs, stomach, heart, or orifaces in their bodies such as a mouth or anus (lol)

Crystolians traditionally act as peacekeepers for the Etherealm, what with their abiity to move quite quickly over terrain, as well as have the upper hand magically over any species. They don't exploit these abilities, however, and are respected by the other races.
Crystolian females, although wont to change their appearence, traditionally have longer tails than males, have thumbs on their wings instead of spines, have hair instead of horns, and have less digigraded feet than males. The hair is usually shoulder length to calf length, with a crystal between the collar bones, and average to large breasts.
