Sorry for the non-artwork related entry but this was cool enough to share! As I mentioned in my journal, got to do a 'meet 'n greet' with the band Rush and here's the picture my friend and I got of it. ROCK!!! I'm the guy with the Pink Floyd shirt. Hehe. Was entirely awesome and cool even though I ended up stepping on Alex Lifeson's (guitarist and guy I'm standing next to) foot. D'oh! Concert f***ing rocked too! We had like 16th row seats and such energy in the crowd and on stage, was just amazing. I've seen Rush nine times now and they've always been good but this was one of the best I've seen! Hail hail rock 'n roll!!

Heh, that's alright, it's been about 7 years since we talked. I remember at the time, you were living in PA working towards an art degree, and I was living in NY, over by Lake Erie. We used to talk about artsy shit and furry cons, though being I'm a photographer, and you were into drawing, we hit it from different angles. :)
Hey you found it! :D Yeah my friend won the "meet & greet" though their website. It was crazy. When I walk up to Alex I actually stepped on his foot! I was like "OMG I'm sorry!" and he just laughed and said, "That's okay, I have another." Only met them for about 15 seconds but still was really memorable. Seen them in concert I think 8 or 9 times now. :)
Can't believe I just found this pic!, that is very cool you got to do that. Figures about Neil Peart, they say he does not like to meet and greet with fans much. I missed going to see Rush on that tour you are at in this pic. I had a chance, but the girl who had the tickets I was pissed at. I was more of a fan than she was. I am a vinyl collector, and got all the Rush Lp's from Archives to Grace under pressure. Got them from a friend of my aunt's. Enjoyed them ever since. And also Pink Floyd is just brilliant. Got pretty much all of their vinyl {even a US pressing of Piper at the gates of dawn.}
