Fire mages- occupational hazard of never being able to get 'hot' on someone. Or at least, make sure to get a fire-resistant partner.
Earth mages- you might be camouflaged but people will still suspect that a moving rock isn't normal.
Air mages- relaxation triggers wind. Enough said.
Water mages- having hair that looks like seaweed and smelling of salt.

Ok, so a few of those ideas aren't accurate to what he's made. But I couldn't resist =D
