Having already submitted some of my electronic solo tracks to Fur Affinity, here is something a little different. "Just A Friend" was a pop/rock song I wrote for my rock band The Affiliates during mid-2008. It is probably the most popular track we've ever recorded!

We finally recorded it in February 2009 where I contributed to the bass, guitars, keyboards and backing vocals. My usual position in the band at the time was the bass but the lead guitarist felt I would do better recording the song's guitar parts, so I did.

Later in the year it was played on Radio North Angus! The band split not long afterwards (Everyone had their reasons; mine was to get back to uni for my finals) but I've since started a new project with the drummer.
