English High tea is not a formal thing. it's extremely informal.
an example is when a boss has a new rule he has to lay out to his employees,
and brings a cart with a teapot on it and enough cups for everyone.
everybody stands there, drinking their tea while he explains everything.
High tea means you don't sit down. High as in standing, not sitting.
