Well, everybody assumed Lucario was a canine to start with, but a Kangaroo looks more plausible now you've said it XD

He's a Jackal, based loosely off the Egyptian god of death (well most common of like 20 gods of death for Egypt) Anubis

Very loosely, it seems. His Shiny form is a bit more Egyptian looking, but Anubis is usually represented by black, not blue or yellow...

I ment his body, not colors, though Anubis wore blue black and yellow... Doesnt matter, just spouting info out of boredom

This is looking great so far! I love the shading style a lot! I am usually not a big fan of Lucario, but I like how you rendered the species! Made them more canine...and less ambiguous

Definitely like your 'Warcario' style better than the original Lucario, Proportions are way better, and the face has an actual nose and doesn't look like it has a beak lol :)

It's sort of an interpretation on Lucario. I like the character, but it's like a lizard/jackal in a way. Just felt I'd give it my spin.

Just starting to get familiar with Pokémon myself (starting with White, SoulSilver, and Pearl in that order of play frequency)… Haven't come across this one (or caught up on the Anime backlog) yet, but despite my ignorance on the canon thus far, I was impressed with your skill with your tablet, speed and smoothness of line drawing, ability to work inking so quickly… I was unable to stay late enough to witness much coloring.

But anyway. I know I'll commission a drawing from you when/if possible… you got style.

Soulsilver is in my oppinion the best Pokemon made for handhelds and probably best overall next to Coliseum and XD: Gale of Darkness
