Overlooking all, but his own heart. Knowing deep inside what he truly wanted, but ignoring it for what to him was a righteous desire to save his species. He did not dare look to the side, out of fear that his eyes would meet those of the blue beast, like many a times before. The long, silent conversations between their two gazes, telling a lifetime story of desire and in a sense, love. But he avoided it. No matter how much his heart desired it, his mind refused to yield. He couldn't afford it. Not now. He needed to save his species, everything else be damned.
Despite its sketchy nature, I really love this pic. It has that feeling of soul, and tells you a story from simply looking at it.
