Very cute and innocent :3 I like it, and I think you'd do well with children's book illustrations. The only thing is with childrens books, detailed drawings don't have as strong as an impact since children have a short attention span and look over images quickly.

Still very cute though, and I'd love to see something like this in a book that a parent could read to a child at night, right before bed. x3

Also totally jealous of your handwriting haha. it's soo neat and pretty in comparison to mine. xD

It varies over the years, like everything does. Right now is simple, back when I was young, everything was detailed and beautiful.

I'm not looking to sell or be popular though. I just want to do it to accomplish something big and it I || help get my name out regardless C:

I adore this picture, but I must disagree with detail having little impact. I was going through all my old kid's books, and two of the ones I remembered most vividly and couldn't bear to donate were very highly detailed. The less detailed ones had less staying power, with the exception of Maisy, who has bumpy, crayon-y lines but bright unshaded colours. While this could be true in the short term, the books I remember had as much love in the pages as FA has. <3

Thats a really admirable goal. I'd love to do something similar one day. I have quite a few amazingly beautiful childrens stories, 'No matter what' which is abot a baby fox and his mommy is sooo pretty I love looking at that book, and beegu is one of my faves too. well if you do ever create a book dear, you can trust i would by one to read to any children i might possibly have in the future. or my husband/boyfriend if that happens to be the case :3 very cute and adorable. effectively showing the face of a child who is seeing something magnificent and new to them :3

...I remember that was a (small) part of the point of Howl's Moving Castle. That particular story went one way with it, though, so I imagine you'll go another. Unless you plan on the little girl replacing her SPOILER with the SPOILER and getting it to SPOILER a FILM TITLE.

I've seen How's Moving Castle lots of times and no, that wasn't what I had in mind haha

To be honest, the spoiler tag thing was mainly because it was funny.
And now I'm interested in what happens next. Damn you and your cliff hangers.

I haven't really figured it out yet. I wrote stuff down, but mom pointed out that kid stories these days need something to learn, a meaning behind it, rather then it being a little random. But hey, I haven't written a story in years, so it's a start haha.

I actually want to write a children's book too... it's something I've been considering for years.

That's a nice goal to have. :3 I think it would be very interesting to see what you come up with as well.
