Illustrated literally at the last minute at Anthrocon, I was happy enough with the result to color it! One of Aelius' characters, Star was fun to work with just because it's hard to deny an opportunity to make a pirate bunny!
The guy she's fighting is supposed to be a flamboyantly-clad Landschneckt warrior, plumed hat, striped sleeves, zweihander and all. Star's got a bit of a fight ahead of her!

Well KNOWING that particular type of sword is simply called a Landschect sword; yours is too thin, that particular sidearm is more like a longsword in the width of the blade, outside of that remember the slashed sleeves on tunics were very popular among German Landscnect warriors from originally Switzerland or Helvetian in Latin. )i have THat Sword and several types of rapier and a couple epee in my Role Playing game. (I allow a huge span of weaponry.
In closing I redesigned 16th century shoes to allow for a race that does not have digigrade feet like a human, the shoe looks a bit odd but the overall effect is not lost in making the usual pirate shoe elaborately styled. But I am a purist perhaps too much and demand exactness in olden times.
I think your bunny looks better than your horses.
