Holy crap! So here I am walking to the town square, as bike's front tire got stabbed, admiring the non-scorching weather, when I happened to pass by a hot-rod shop- and get an eyeful of the 80's, 1988 to be precise. I remembered the show only because of the TRUCK, and there it was with one flat tire and it's "Like, totally gritty yet futuristic" look. I'm still impressed, and wish it was mine- what other truck has a helicopter cockpit welded to it? :D

I looked at the show, man its slow and stupid, like a cartoon called M.A.S.K.
It changes from truck to chopper so slowly that anyone with a good hunting rifle have the time to actually get a clean well aimed shot to the pilots head, let alone an RPG. 80's was a good time for pilot episodes (no pun). I loved funny shows like Hammer.

Never heard of that show, but that cockpit section is unmistakably from an Aerospatiale SA 341 Gazelle.
Odd how an at the time 20-year old design could perfectly perform the part of a 'futuristic' helicopter. (another one with significant alterations was used as 'Airwolf' - but those modifications were so extensive that it had the flight characteristics of a brick, rather than those of the swift and agile attack heli it was meant to portray...)

That truck design does vaguely remembering me some of Colani's pretty futuristic trucks designs.
