My week sucked, so I bought a pizza and drew my pangolin.
Yep. My Friday night is a lot better now. Probably should sleep now, but yeah.
Anatomy's probably off, because it's hard to find refs of pangolins walking that actually show their feet...Oh well. Tis art, and twas fun.
And for some reason, drawing ALL the scales is soothing for me. Goes against what my art teachers told me. "Draw SOME of the grapes," "draw SOME of the hairs." There are situations where that makes a lot of sense, and actually looks best. But for my pangolin, that goes right out the window. :) Still need a name for this gal. Finally got a gender at least. And a bit of a personality in the works, though I've only got two adjectives so far, lol.
Might change the background a bit later. I feel like it should be a bit darker.
