phano has claimed a foreign planet. Isn't that awesome? I'm not actually sure if this scanned properly as my screen is broken in a discolouring sort of way.

Well, I try not to make a big deal out of birthdays for that reason, but it would have been nerve racking any other day anyway. All I wanted was to go sailing and the only crew I could get was my mom and kid brother. The latter came over too early and the first came too late. The cat was dreadfully sick all day as well and there were hardly any whispers of wind all morning. When a few zephyrs started rattling the leaves, my mom came just after I got the jeep hopelessly stuck in the mud hooking the boat up. And then the cat died.
Thank you. *hugs* We knew he wasn't going to last very long anyway because he had liver problems, but it was a hell of a day to happen. And we managed to extricate the jeep and boat from the earth but by then it was almost dark and I didn't have much spirit left. The only dry place in the yard was under the walnut tree though, and all night I heard the nuts hitting the boat. :P The outer shells and the wet leaves stain the gelcoat something fierce, but I think I can scrub it out.
Are you starstruck?! :D I don't think there're any hotels on the planet. You'll have to make your own camp, but I'm sure Phano can assist you and perhaps lend you some essential supplies. At least you won't need to make a fire, as a fallen star generates enough heat to prepare your food and warm your surroundings.
