"The clouds were dark and heavy with snow, casting a shade of grey over everything in sight. It was quite cold outside, as it had just snowed heavily not to long ago. I could see my breath as it escaped from my lungs. I wrapped my blue scarf over my face tighter, keeping the warm inside, and even though I had on my coat and winter apparel, I still shivered slightly. I kept on walking through the park, past snow-laiden trees, across a white stone bridge over a frozen stream, and past a pair of ginger squirrels who has awoken from their hibernation and were out and about. I sighed as I sat down on a wooden bench covered in snow. In the spring, the trees would be covered with white and pink flowers, bursting with life. In the fall, the leaves would turn bright red and orange, exploding with color. Both were very beautiful and the park would be packed with people. But now, there was nobody. Just me, my thoughts, and the silence of the wind. It was perfect."

A little emotional piece I wrote up a few months ago. I was planning to release this in late November or early December, but I couldn't wait.
