Another belated birthday gift for another Chakat friend of a friend whom I recognize as Chakat Silkpaws. Here shi's cleared out the books on the "Hold" shelf at a small bookstore, and is carrying hir treasures back to the transport. Now Ironically in the "Village" near where I'm living now, there are two book stores across the street from one another. I wonder what would happen if these two would meet?

They've got a bookstore in the Sacramento Midtown area that has a sign in the window, which shows a cartoon of a scruffy old man trying to hold up a huge pile of books. Beneath it says:
"Buy a book, you bastards!".
The shop just got rated 'Best Advertising Slogan" in one of the local weeklys.

I like books a lot as well. My friends back East have sent me several volumes of books on steam locomotives and trolley cars. I need to find some time to clear out space on my bookshelves to add these books, but my friend in New York tells me to simply buy another bookcase. (Right. Now where can I put it?)
Haha! The struggle for us book collectors never ends as we're always running out space to store them on shelves.
I own a huge collection of books along with furry fiction too as I enjoy reading and writing a lot. I also own a few rare titles as I'm still searching for more as I would love to have my own personal library.
