Hey everybody! Long time no post!
I got a new monitor the other day (donated kindly by my friend
uainesionnach, thank you so much buddy!) and it's like a huge breath of fresh air. This entire time, ever since I joined DA, I've been working off the same CRT monitor which was originally made in 2002. xD Everything is so much clearer and sharper now. The contrast seems a lot better too as well!
I have no idea how it'll affect my art style yet, particularly my coloring. I expect things will overall look brighter, but hopefully I'll have better control over the darks than I once did. x)
Anyhow, here is a pose idea sheet I put together yesterday, and cleaned up today. =) I'm trying really hard to decide what pose I should use for the 3D model. Since I won't time to rig it, I'll need to model Temiree how I want him to look from the get-go, and a T-pose, while easier to do, just won't look natural. I'm leaning towards a standing, greeting sort of pose, since I think that could work from multiple angles very well.
I can't tell you how much fun it was to sketch these with the new monitor though. Being able to see all the lines so sharp and clean, and having so much more space to work with was, again, a huge breath of fresh air for me.
More to come soon, as well as a robot dog I've been working on the last few weeks! =D
I hope you all like this. Enjoy! =D

I definitely like the new head design! I see that you're trying to make his feet look more feral too, but they seem a bit thin for his figure in this picture. I like the way you did the way the feet and legs in "An Otter With a Fish". However, that otter's legs are a bit shorter than Tem 2.0's and I think the new Temiree's legs are just the right length. They make his torso look long and ottery while still allowing that jumping pose. I bet "Otter With a Fish" wouldn't be able to jump on two legs very well.
The feet in the lower middle drawing are okay, but the ones up top seem more like mouse feet to me. I dunno. He's just got a thick neck, tall body, muscular tail, beefy thighs, then thin feet. It caught my eye.
I understand this drawing is old and I'm sorry if I'm saying this while you're already committed to the design.
