Some of you probably remember this image from my early gallery. I decided, for drawing practice, to take that pixel art as a sketch and ink it over with vectors. I think the results look pretty nice, if I do say so myself.

You did a really nice job on this. The entire image looks extremely smooth and clean and the colors hold a nice tone that blends well with everything. I like how you have slightly wider lines happening at certain curves, making it feel like her width and size is slightly bigger and more dramatic even. It creates a fun style with that effect happening :)
Thanks :) The art brushes used are of my own design-- just a simple triangle and spike shape mapped to the lines. Placing them for effect was simple enough to do with vectors.
To be honest, this is my first time actually placing vectors by hand to make a picture. The method of using a pixel "sketch" as a base and then drawing vector lines on top of it has proven quite useful, and should help me to make more like this in the future.
