R.I.P. Spike You were everyone's Best friend..
Another Memorial Pic for my orange cat Spike. Here he is with his best buddy Desmond, who had been left behind. Spike was everyone's best friend, and the greatest cat I have ever known. He passed Sep 23rd at 2:30 pm at the age of 5 it was a terrible loss for many who knew him. I hope he is in a better place. I may post a few more really great memorial photos since, he was such an interesting and photogenic cat.

Thank you. This has just not been a good week for me and my mate. It all started when his front temporary cap shot off at work leaving him looking like a hillbilly, and then by the end of the week we had spent 1500 dollars we had saved for his teeth, on our best friend Spike, only to find out that he had REALLY bad bladder disease and their were no guarantees any surgeries would work, and they wanted to cut off his penis to HOPE that helped him urinate easier, but then he risked chronic bladder infections, and I just couldn't bare the thought of him suffering like that, so we had to make the hardest decision of my life..
How awful :( chronic bladder infections would be just as bad as not being able to pee very well... since they cause blockages too... I'm so sorry. Unfortunately life never comes with guarantees but I think you made the right, if horrible, decision. He'll be waiting at the rainbow bridge I'm sure :)
