Follow the trail, press on until the end, and you will find the treasure.
For those of you having technical troubles, try this.
-If you're tabbing back and forth while attempting it, you'll probably mess it up. Trying once, then typing "It doesn't work!" in another window, trying again and typing "NO it doesn't, you're wrong!" in another window.. you're just making a cycle of it not working. If you do this a lot, stay in the window and try it a few times, you'll reset it.
-If you think you've figured it out but it doesn't work, or only works sometimes, try going just a wee bit further than you think you need to. This should help you trigger it more reliably.
As soon as someone posts the solution I will remove this, and I won't put it back next time. I realize someone can make a mistake, but this is not a hard one to follow guys.
[EDIT] I have to say guys, thanks for being a good sport about this thing :D I understand it's frustrating for some folks, but I haven't made it very complicated, and thank you for keeping the solution out of this thread!

This means that clues are fine, help each other out. The response to this has been overwhelmingly positive, and I'm so pleased that most of you guys have enjoyed it.

Sigh. Half a bloody hour staring at this thing and still nothing. I must be dense; I don't even have any idea whether or not I've even found the clue yet. Fast, slow, I've done everything I can think to do and nothing.

*grumps* I give up. I don't really know what "trail" I need to find so I can find some "treasure". I just don't see any noticeable path or pattern or something to follow.
A less vague clue would be helpful, so I can actually figure out this riddle.. if there is a riddle to be solved here.

So far I got nothing... tried early this morning and this evenin' and still nothing. Hopefully it'll stay up 'till I figure it out... but it looks like I won't have a chance 'till tomorrow something...

As fun as it was finding the treasure, and as much as I would love to see another one like this, I feel so dumb. XD I literally hit my head on the keyboard. And although I found the treasure, I can't help but think there's a bit more...

Gawd... it only took me two days to figure this thing out.... *blinks* I feel stupid. Like someone said, I was being too precise.
I have to say.. it frustrated me... got me angry... and I guess I'm happy I finally solved it. At least now this puzzle won't haunt my dreams.... but that orc is more than allowed to haunt my dreams. :)

Bah... im probably the only person who didnt get the whole thing... even tho i tried like a zillion different things... for over an hour... i guess i should blame firefox tho...
In the end i got pissed, and just downloaded the goddamn thing, and decompiled it... so i got to see the treasure anyways... even tho i had to nuke the whole thing to get to it...
But thats what happens when i get annoyed... the thing i get annoyed at gets iether nuked, or horribly raped... or both...
The whole "no tell solution" thing is kinda sad tho... feels more or less like "if your too stupid to understand the vague hints presented, you are not worthy of seeing the oh-so-godlike secret" =/

Although I don't further BlueCharizard's hostile tone, I have to agree with him. There are no hints what so ever to help in solving this one. It's vague as to what exactly we're looking for and the whole process feels like nothing but a demonstration in exclusion.
Maybe it's time to just post the solution so everyone can enjoy this one.

I don't think I'm going to do that. If I post the solution I might as well just take down this image altogether and just post the secret as a separate image. I did give you guys a hint, and if you can't figure it out, there have been lots of other hints posted throughout this thread.

I'd suggest you ask someone for help then. I don't mind if people help each other out, I don't even care if someone tells you the answer outright, just as long as it's not posted in this thread.
Otherwise, as someone so elequently commented on my other image, there's plenty of other art on this site that involves less effort. You don't have to play if you don't want to.

No, it's acknowledging that the hobgoblin puzzle is, in fact, harder. Also, that there's a reason that the hobgoblin puzzle is harder.
Solved in about 4 minutes on this one. I missed it a few times just because my browser was so finicky about the whole thing. Pretty fun! Some of the comments make me a little sad, though. :-/

that.. that.. grr, ack mew, pain, why!? this... oooh. ack, >___< I got it, after like 15 minutes and it... ugh. This was good, the prize is... well, I would say worth it, but the frustration saids other wise ^^;;
I am happy for more of this kind of thing on FA though, even though I'm months behind XD all I have to really say is, Oi, it's so simple and yet so infuriating... >_< If you can't figure it out, just have patience and try again, if you complain that it doesn't work, then just stop talking and read the comments.

...but, I literally have no clue what to do. I found the place where to click and yet nothing is happening. And I get what you mean by "treasure" "TRAIL" and I'm sure there's more to it than clicking but I don't have any idea what it is.
