was this not the first gas powered engine......engines before this ran on Paraffin or Liquid Paraffin commonly known as Mineral Oil or steam or Shocker Electricity... that is right most Buggies had battery and electric Motors so what anyone tells you about electric car's being impractical is just trying to make you use an unenvironmentally sound Gas car so they can make LOADS if money off you having to buy fuel. not pay a few cents a kilowatt to charge your car up.
