Yeah me either, not with the long exposure. If you have a good strong flashlight or light [a worklight from Home Depot, which you can get for about $3-$7] you can flash the heck out of them for about 10 minutes or so, and then close yourself up in the room they're in, and flip the camera to night mode. [usually somewhere in the picture settings]. If you don't have night mode, flashing them with the light and then taking a photo with no flash should do it. I'm thinking you'd be able to because your camera can manage uv lights. [Mine didn't, it couldn't register that my hair was glowing green under blacklight].
Augh sorry for the huge reply! Hopefully that helps in some way.

for glow in the dark pics, you NEED a tripod. or to ghetto prop up the camera on stuff like a tripod. it keeps the details sharp during the longer exposure. I put my camera on its manual setting so I can adjust the shutter speed (aka how long the exposure it). Always take a million more pictures than you need so you can figure out what settings work best.
If you don't have a manual setting, you could probably just have the camera on a tripod, turn off the lights, TURN THE CAMERA FLASH OFF, and see if it will take a photo
