I swore I would never do one, but i cracked and wrote two versions for piano. I am a huge avid fanatic of Final Fantasy, and I hated the incorporation of them into Kingdom Hearts, but putting the game aside, the music is outstanding! Each piece has a life of its own, and i thought i might as well put my twist onto a few of Yoko Shimomura's songs. She by far is an outstanding composer, one I hold in the top 5! Back up boys, this girl is good and means business!

Utada actually did write this one, as well as Simple and Clean. Yoko Shimomura and Kaoru Wada did much of the music in the game, but not all of it. Disney also has many of their songs in it as well, such as This Is Halloween by Danny Elfman.

That was so eerily beautiful. I absolutely adored your take on this song. I've listened to it about 4 times now no stop. :3

Your pianist skills are exceptional dude :) Such lovely work on the bass notes while playing the melody. I'm still trying get my left hand independent from my right when I play xD
I'm an avid Final Fantasy fan too and I think they kinda shoehorned them into the KH series but the music is astounding (Square Enix has a track record for finding ingenious composers like Yoko).
I always love what they do with Dearly Beloved in each song, rearranging it each time <3

It is a pain to learn, but i find that for myself, the less waiting time on my left hand, ie, the more my hands moves, that I can constantly keep a rhythm going. Once that was set, i simply stop my left and keep it going, then add a left when i am ready to play. Took me years to get it down.

Hah! I didn't even recognize it for over half of the song!! Reaaally made it your own~ ...and yes, I loved this song! ...kinda like the Kingdom Hearts series too, but yeah, they kinda did just hodge-podge most of them into the story... and my friend even said they put Squall's scar in the wrong direction, in the first one... when he watched me play. Does NOT want to touch it, cause it's so mussed with Disney... but I keep saying it is a Squuuare Eeenix game...~ Quite enjoy your rendition~
