You can control this guy with WASD or the arrow keys. =) Give it a try!
(You gotta click on the flash image first, so your keys know what you're doing lol)
I animated all those frames by hand. xD Sketched them in Sai, then imported the image to flash, where I drew them up with the flash tools so the file size would stay small. xD
Next comes character selection! The game I plan on making in the future has several character selections... male and female. So I'll start with being able to choose male or female... and work from there.

I just started this last week. The 16th, I think... Also ordered some books on the cheap to help me out with the programming ($2 each, which was awesome)... and they just got here today! I'm reading them right now. xD
I dunno why I've fallen headfirst into this... I just one day decided to boot up my old (6 years old) flash MX program and fool around... AND NOW I WILL NEVAR STOP! Or something ;P
It's frustrating to learn and feel stupid, but I think it's my desire to learn that's making me so interested in this... I've always loved learning, but I got burned out in the military due to stress and when I got out I let my brain rot for awhile... and now my brain is like "YES! INFO! NOM NOM NOM!"
When I get code right, it's almost like a high... xD
