I posted a poll on both Deviant Art and Fur Affinity asking people which of a group of pictures they'ed most like to see finished. A giant's tale won by quite a decent margin, so here it is in full colour! It's of
nmr's Talia, a Ninetales who likes to tell stories. Speaking of stories, if you're interested in learning more about the character, you can read her story here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6368360
Oh and there's also cameos from Vapour, Brenna, Hailey, Absol, and Sapphira.

A picture full of fetishes and a rich history useless blabbing about non-destructive macros. Whatever.
Ignoring the macroness, I think this character game out more interesting then the last sort I recall you working on. I still strongly appreciate your attention to fabric folds. In the case of the skirt, it looks almost too realistic for the character. I guess that is a compliment. |3
I guess I might add some real crite to this instead of dick thoughts. I feel there is some backwards attention grabbing issues here. Generally my eyes jump to the most detailed part of the pictures focus (again, still ignoring the background), in this case the skirt, then the tails, then the top head hair and THEN the eyes. The eyes got like the lest amount of attention it seems. They feel like paper. After staring at them for a while, I do then see some detail was applied.
So, yah, a paper look in this could be blamed on the highlights. I can tell this best by an awkward feature you did, giving one three highlights and the other two (the third is not really visible though there). The one with three highlights definitely feels flatter then then the other.
I have seen you draw your eyes from scratch many times but you do have a distinct impression from how you do them. So to preserve your style a bit. I would recommend keeping one dominant highlight unchanged, then other the other two reduce their opacity (maybe 50%?).
Umm.... on a side note, did you double check where her tails are originating from? I hope that is not why she is wearing a belly top.
Btw, you forgot a full res link again. I do not think anyone who did not attend the stream would know those cities are not organized dot collections. |3
Subliminal Pokeball detected. |3 Ungg... too tired to reread this comment and edit. c_c;

Look, I know you are entitled to your opinion, but little a term called "if you don't have anything nice to say, say anything at all". If this was a commission you made, then you would have more of a right to complain to an extent, but since this is not the case, it isn't in your place to demand/recommend changes for a gift/commission to someone who isn’t you.
Yeah, you might have done well to re-read a few things here as a few things came off a bit trollish. Fortunately I was able to dig around that and pick out the important critique as you have raised a few good points.
First off she's not destructive as Absol's not interested in destructive character's. In character, she worked with illusions and stories. So she may not even be there. Either way, I like the character, and I like macro so it works fine for me!
Anyway, I had a go at altering the eyes to make them less flat. You're right though I've been using this style for quite some time, and its probably due time that I move on. The highlights were too big, and also didn't really take into account the light direction. As for the skirt, fabric in general I love shading. I find it fun, so I tend to spend a bit longer than usual on it. I also shaded with a slight bluey tint on this picture to accommodate for natural sunlight.
I hope what I've done here preserves my natural style enough for the picture not to look off, but also gives me enough scope to improve at drawing eyes. We'll see.
I've fixed the tails too, as regardless of styles, the top two tails were going up too high.
I've linked the full resolution image too. It slipped my mind when posting the picture.
Thanks for the critique.

You know me, always quailing with other macrophiles over trivial things! =P Kinda another reason its better to stay out of your stream's chats and just talk to you over IM with the window popped out.
Again I apologize for aggravating you over the whole eye thing. It did not help that I was busy with something else during the chats that I was not really thinking my critique out before typing them
And sometimes I feel I have no business critiquing your work especially when you have already got somewhere in your art advances and occasional profit where I have nothing. So you are already doing what you do very right!
*P.S. Do you intend to update the FA submission?

No worries Clippy. One thing I know about you is that you speak your mind. You tend to say what you're really thinking. Which in the long run, certainly isn't a bad thing for art critique.
Anyway, I have already updated it. You'll probably have to mash ctrl and f5 though as FA caches pictures.

It's a temporary folder on your computer that stores internet data. It's to stop you requiring to download the entire page every single time you visit it. see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_cache
But I'd rather not talk about that on here. But yes, this is why you'll have missed the banner. Ctrl and f5 force refreshes the entire page.
