He'll never see this coming... XD In fact, I'll bet he doesn't remember asking to be in the comic XD

Okay, so I actually had 1/3 of this done a good while ago, but I stopped because (a) I had learned that if I keep doing nothing but profiles one after another I'll go insane XD and (b) it took a little longer to draw out because I had to redo my profile format for use on Demin because he's so bloody short! XD Plus, I had to rearrange things so I could put Shade in there the way I wanted. Also, the primary imagery I used to model him is like... a year or two old, so I know it's a little off compared to his current drawings of himself.


Anyways, why am I doing this again? It's for a King of Furrys(/Fighters) styled comic I've been writing out and this is part of my "Character Bible" because wanted to have handy referances of all the characters I was drawing, already drawn out in my own style. Thus, easier for me to work with.

Originally, D-S asked to be in it as just a side character, throwing in comments about battles from the sidelines in classic DBZ or other <insert-name-here> action shows. However, doing it that way, I would later find that Denim and other "sideline" characters like him were being pretty much forgotten and left out completely from the storyline because they had such a minor part and weren't getting any serious screentime(wait, err... paneltime?). And I wanted D-S to have a more noticable role than just random cameo appearance, so when I started rewriting the story a few months back I decided to give his character a more important role to play in the story. You still may not see him appearing a lot, especially in the beginning, but at least he's serving a significant purpose in being there now. Plus, he'll be the third character to make an appearance in the comic, thus why I did his profile right after Sefra and Rilest.

Okay, soooo... oddities? How bout the outfit I put him in at the bottom? XD That's pretty off the wall, eh? Well, just trust me when I say it serves a purpose towards his role in the comic. It's the same outfit worn by one of the newer KoF fighters, if you'd care to look it up. However, in his first appearances, he'll be wearing some kind of raincoat looking thing over it, so you won't see him in it again for a while.

The random items off to the side there? One is a sealed invitation envelope to the KoF Tournament, giving you a hint-hint towards the role I'm giving him. Next to that being a close up of the wax seal(Feel free to take guesses as to who or what "DH" is, just don't post them here... XD It's supposed to be a secret, so no giving it away!). And under that is an oversized lollipop and a regular sized one, cause cute syndrome kicked in and I thought he's look cool carrying one or the other around all the time.... XD
