Horrah! First piece of my own start to finish artwork uploaded since I began trying to learn the fine skill of lineart. I drew this one back in the beginning of July and it was really one of the first one I felt like I really liked. I'd drawn the character a bit before but this is where I started trying to pin down her personality.

In any case, this Is Tejina, my new go-to drawing character. She is a little like my mate's character Kass in that she was created in order to have a more-or-less blank slate that could be used in just about any picture, but I must say I'm having quite a bit of fun adding in little details. I decided to go with corsac fox for the species since there dont seem to be too many of those around, and while I initially was going to giver her a bit of an oriental feel she kind of shaped herself into a bit more of a tribalistic character. Like many of my characters she has unusual abilities, but since I'm placing her in the Hazel hill setting they are rather low power. in this case she has the ability to create a number of orbs of light of any color she chooses to float about.

Just another evening spent alone in the dorm room at Hazel Hill (a college in a story I really need to finish). The realization of being many miles from home has a way of sneaking to the front of the mind at the most inopportune of times; especially when you have a test to study for and you really don't want to get started.
