hadn't really felt much like drawin'... was kinda bummed out about several things after r'turnin' from AC... but nothin' I wanna get into...
But felt it was long overdue fer me ta post an share some art with y'all...
so was jus' sittin' here as random vids played on m'realplayer when it started playin' the old animated Hobbit movie... a movie I hadn't watched all the through in years... an guess it did the trick fer me... I'd always had a thing fer Smaug the dragon an the way they portrayed him... heck he was pretty much my first encounter with a dragon and I'd always loved how he looked... had even had a few fantasies about'im which may inspire some Smaug pron...
But ta do that I knew I had ta refresh m'memory an so I sat an watched the animated movie fully through an did a quick freeze-frame on a close-up of his face ta study it while I drew this...
I think it came out rather well... hope ya like it an that it brings fond memories ta those'a you who've seen that movie... an fer those who haven't... well... I think it's worth it if yer dragon fans... luv ya Smaug! :)

it's been so long since I seen that movie OR their take on the whole LOTR trilogy. i STILL have the songs from the Rankin Bass version pop up in my head after diving into the book trilogy again.
