You can push yourself all you want. But when you find someone who means everything to you and they share the same feeling, You'll ramp it back for their sake.

The best you can do right now is improve yourself so when you meet this person You're as good as can be.

You're young. You can afford to work yourself to the bone a few times. Just do me us both a favor and try to appreciate your every improvement, and reward yourself with some cake or icecream every now and then.

If you're in shambles however, you're no good for anyone. Take a break when it's needed, and try to keep the best outlook you can.
