Since both of them have drinked the Permanent Potion, now they are similar to eachother but in different colors.  regidor was an Aqua dragon, and when he drank the black liquid, he turned into a black and red dragon... so his eyes from blue turn purple, his scales turn black and red but his old self remain in his markings. While  Futurep from a red dragon turned into a Blue and black dragon, the opposite of Regidor (since in the ingredients of the potion there was some of Regidor's DNA).

But Future turns to be stronger because he swallowed some of Regidor's DNA.
