Being far apart is so hard 3: I'm in the same situation - I live in Vancouver and my mate lives near Minneapolis. 3: so it takes hundreds of dollars and a full day of travel to see her face.

Never to the meets but I sometimes show up at the events. I have a little one at home and don't trust her at the meets. :P
