The character's name is Clopin, and he's a gypsy, not a court jester ^u^ He actually has no connection to the french court at all. heehee, cute picture though! Looks like one I drew on my old account ^^

Yeah, he's just a brown fox. Not just because it's cute, but because I think it really suits his personality.
