Portfolio Design: Business Card Front
I'm trying to design a business card to hand out to potential employers and to advertise my skills. What do you think about this design as a 'Front' of the card? What works well? What doesn't work? Please give me some critique so I can improve it for class and my future. Thanks!

Many business cards for artists tend to work well with a visual that acts as an example of your work on one side with your name as a part of the composition on the front, allowing it to be eye-catching at a glance (a background pattern isn't enough), and a logo with your contact information on the back, keeping it informative.
You also should consider a vertical composition for your card.

Or you could go overboard, like this douche.

Just my thought, I think you could simplify this side of the card a lot. You have a nice, clear layout of information on the other side, make this side look just nice. Cut back on the information, maybe have just your name or just your website or whatever you think is appropriate and use that space for what crux suggested, a little more design oriented.
