I took some time off commissions this afternoon to just play in Photoshop. Decided to "paint" a portrait of my dog, based on a photo I took of her a summer or two ago.
It was fun. I don't normally paint in such a "sloppy" style. I like how it turned out... might do more some time. (Yes, I know she's only got three "toes" on her back leg, but she tore out her toenail on that exact foot this summer so I thought it'd be funny to exclude it from the painting...)
The brushes I used were all default photoshop brushes except one.
I got the "splatter" brush here: http://www.brusheezy.com/
