Just thinking back to happier times, if you will. Remembering playing this with my late fiancee, just in hysterics with her over the antics, despite being states apart. It tickled my fancy.

Incredible amount of detail in the work, the background, colors and the lighting is just perfect!

I wonder why we don't get to see Nadia, Trevor, Ralf and Clark on the rest of the other Metal Slug sequel games. They only appeared in MS 4.

I was thinking about doing that too, but the tank already took so much time to render I didn't want to spend too long trying to add more complex vehicles in the picture as well.

Aw yeah, this was a pleasant surprise in my inbox tonight.
I always play tarma. Loved how comical the game was.. and how tough it got.
There's actually a Metal slug 5 where I work.. took me an hour to beat.. 16 continues..
I'm not the best player ever but hey it was fucking fun XD

Cool, I wish I had a Metal Slug arcade cabinet near where I live... though the next best thing would be playing it on my friends' console.

Yeah.. while you can't beat an arcade version, the console ones work just as well.
I have MS anthology for the Wii and MS7 for the DS. It's fun being able to play them whenever I want..

There's just a certain satisfaction leaving your mark on a high score table in a public place though x3

SNK brought out all of their rarest of the rare characters, not just King of Fighters, into one big crossover game: they brought out a totally revamped Haohmaru, a more agile Robert from the Garou timeline, and characters from World Heroes/Last Blade/King of Monsters. Really, really good stuff.

Marco can summon Fio, Tarma, and the slug tanks from the games. =D

Yeah, should be on the PS2, or in an arcade if you can find it. Pretty rare for the latter. I saw it in San Jose reaaallll long ago. I dunno if it's there anymore.
