Commissioned painting for a timber wolf.

It was created using watercolor, gouche, colored pencil, and chalk pastel. Unfortunately it was too big to scan so I had to just take a picture, it looks much better in person, but I guess that's always the case.

The depth of field in the background is Amazing. Your use of light and shadow is excellent. You get a sense of the character just sitting there enjoying the night, looking up at the night sky. Excellent work I love it.

This is just beautiful! I'm much in awe of your use of color; there's evidently quite a varied palette here, which particularly for a night-time scene is very impressive.

The best part about this piece is that you didn't even use a digital program in its creation. That is pure art.

Wow! nicely done!
and all traditional media, very cool.
really great feel to this, nice depth to the scene.
The pose, expression, foreground, background, and lighting all work really well together.
I'll definitely be watching.
