I always love sketchy art more than fully completed (i don't know why...) and I have added your sketches to the list of something I want eventually. :3

I feel the same way. I've been doing digital art for a few years now, and while I appreciate the clean lines and the smooth shading, pencil sketching is like my first love. There's something about pencil sketches that just tickles my fancy. ;) I plan to do these for a while, and there always seems to be slots open for them, so no rush! :D I'm sure it'll happen.

I thought about it and I think we (well maybe just me) love sketches so much is because it's like raw emotion. You look at a sketch and you can see the places that someone has gotten frustrated and erased a bunch of lines. Or you can see if the artist at first made a crude drawing because they wanted to get a general idea then drew over it. It seems like it's a very personal, emotional form of art because you can see all the things you've left behind and changed. :)

That's probably true. With digital art you get an image, and what's there is what tells the story. With sketches, it's the mistakes that tell the story. The things you weren't supposed to see.
