And thus we return to yet another installment of greater proof of both my lack of respect for other's lack of respect, and my amazing mutant power to just not give a shit- The Complaint Department.
It is open truth that the "canned responses" used in internet communication often baffle and irritate me, but their overuse... that is something special in my lil' heart. *gives Commander a pat on the head*
And here... we... go!

Thank you Mary, you did pretty much hit the gender politics nail on the head, or boob in my case... I guess.
But I don't think any offense was intended, Wulf is a sweet guy and a good friend.
Also- since you're here, have you had any chance to throw together a reference for me on your 'sona? I'm very intrigued as to what guidelines I should follow on the ippo-dragon... dracopatamus... some thing like that there...?

I think these are even better than the pony-splat ones, because they tend to really get to the point. That being, there's far too much "turning ones goofy interest into SERIOUS BIZNESS", which is practically begging to be poked fun at. ;)
Well that and I love the expressions you use on characters. They're awesome!

On the "bizness business", too true, love. I've been really surprised how little angsty junk I've received on FA over these comics, particularly compared to other sites. Hell, on the eScapist, just my title of "The Anti-Bronie" has gotten a few responses from some random fucksticks. It's really been an impressive study of human behaviour to me. I could be commenting on a forum about some child being raped and I have literally gotten a reply from a stranger about "Hatin' on ponies". Amazing... *shakes her head* You'd think each and every one of them not only wrote and animated the crap, but was maybe related to one of them or something...
Now, I'm not one to purposefully set out to be hurtful. I know I am at times, accidentally, and when that occurs, I will apologize. But when someone is being such a whiney little douche-nugget about something, it becomes very difficult for the bitch in me to NOT poke 'em in the side. And when they go out of their way to be an ass to me, directly... well, that's game on, yes.
Granted, this is just my take on things, and I hope to not be coming across as a pedantic ass.... *snerks*
Thank you for the compliments love. I always appreciate them, especially from one as complex and intriguing as yourself. We share much in common from other venues of life and I would love to talk with you someday over a drink or two.

*Groan* Hater gonna hate... That "phrase" has become one of the worst things of the Internet. It's fine accepting that as a philosophy, because seriously there are people who'll just hate because they want to hate, but using it as an argument ? It makes "haters" out of people who'd have agreed with your point. Really, that MLP - Complaint Department comic doesn't even need the MLP part. If it was limited to MLP lovers it would be an improvement.
Thank you love. I agree that there are some people, "Trolls" I think they're called, that kind of exist to simply stir up drama and cause trouble for the fun of seeing others unhappy. But as you state, simply assuming someone must be just out to be mean to you for disagreeing with your viewpoint is very belittling to their argument, and in a way to both parties.
Haters gunna hate is certainly one of my less favorite responses. As well as "Whatever" and "My bad" I Hate that last one...my bad..Really? That's acknowledging that you done fucked up but won't apologize for it.
And this is why I tend to believe that the amount of sane intelligent people in the world have dwindled to nothing.
And this is why I tend to believe that the amount of sane intelligent people in the world have dwindled to nothing.
Agreed on all counts love. "Whatever" is kind of an interesting kickstart switch in an argument for me. It takes it from a moderately simple disagreement to a "Wha-what?! Did you just 'whatever' me? You Ass!" "My bad" has always been an instant "piss-me-off" for the same reasons as you, love. "Yes, yes, we know it was your 'bad'. Everyone knows you screwed up. Do you have anything else to say on the issue?" It's just so aggravating... and un-NERVE-ing... ugh. When I text someone and I type out the word to exactly what I mean to say and get a reply of "Lolz", or some other acronym/one-word canned response, I have to take a moment to re-stabilize my brain.
Perhaps we should plan a journey, a trip in search of these people, the sane ones, and place them in protected sanctuary? Yes, we shall breed them specially in captivity and hopefully soon be able to release them back into the wild in greater numbers...

My point exactly! Dismissing someone else's view as simply "Hating on you" is practically unworthy of the species. We have mammalian brains and reptilian brains, higher order reasoning skills... at least some of us do... as a species. So many of us choose to just not use any of it. It's profound almost, this stupidity.
The only yellow Lantern I know of that is openly just dumb is Sinestro Corps Bizarro. But then again, the poor bastard's from an entire univers of backwards-assed retards, it's hard to fault the poor thing.

I loved haters gonna hate.....for abou 3 months. Now I wanna break out the checkbook, go to Thailand for two, then reenact Hostel. And call it a mercy kill. Just remember this: anyone who complains these comics are bad can report to the COG weapons testing ground. YOU pick either the normal or retro lancer. But the Hammer of Dawn? That's currently overbooked
Yeah but now there's one called the Retro Lancer. No chainsaw but just as brutal. This shows how bad it can hurt:

What is that symbol *stares it* on that jacket... *stares harder* it must be a code of some kind... *too close for comfort* oh and yes the "haters gonna hate" community needs a swift kick in the ass and maybe a couple courses in debate... course then they might learn to not try to win an argument just make you loose... *pokes the symbol*
I vote for a good running start to a sharp punt in the taint, assuming the option is on the table.
*looks to the pokey-poking* Um... pokey poke? Whaat're ... oh. Oh, okay. That! Thought maybe my arms were getting flabby and you were sayin' I needed to hit the gym... That would be the symbol of the"Sinestro Corps". The outfit itself I modeled after their corps from the Green Lantern comics series "The Sinestro Corps War". http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6441878/ was the original appearance of this clothing on my 'sona-self.
I've never been too interested in GL, but I've always been a bit of a comics nerd, liking many of the stories, the heros and villains, the struggles and stories. It's not too hard to find at leats one Batman villain to really get behind. So, when I heard about Batman's Scarecrow getting a power ring, a yellow one, the same kind that Green Lantern's arch-enemy Sinestro had, I became intrigued. The stories were actually really interesting and i recommend them to anyone with comic-nerd in their genetics, even as low as 2%.

the corp wars was an AWESOME run and then the rainbow effect happened... and then the black power rings happened, hmm *starts to feel up your rope arms * well you know a good course at the gym COULD do you some good or not. On another but same topic if we have the all take a running start that sets a bad bad president, lets just put something stupid hipster brand drink with a meme lable on a string over the grand cannon and watch what happends
The internet provides a service that everybody looks for in their everyday affairs. It eliminates the need to think. So with "haters gonna hate" and "cool story, bro" and "derp" and a plethora of things from lolcats, they can feel witty without actually having a significant source of wit in their diet. That's why so many of my insults receive a response of "uh, what?" People aren't used to their stupidity being described with full sentences. And they certainly weren't prepared to read it. Just do what I do and assume you're better than everyone because most people will be unable to discredit you.
The was awesome, love. And you're right. With so much knowledge easily accessible people have often forgotten it's value and let themselves be mollified. Ironic for such an amazing tool for communication to be the thing which enables our de-evolution, yes?
"Now why in the world would you have thought to enact that?"
"Lolwut?"
"I'm sorry. I meant; DERP!"
"heheh. Lolz."
Ugh... Not hard to see where bitter old people are made in their teens these days. *grumbles*

I think that this person has probably not had to deal with any major argument from an adult point of view. every time I hear "Haters gonna Hate" I think "Yep, gonna hate that, next moron to the plate!" I started hearing it in school lately, and came to the discovery that it seems to be the last refuge of those who try to use a "straw man" argument (building an argument that cant stand without attacking what the other person is saying) or worse the ones using ad hominem arguments (attack the person, because your argument has no basis in fact or reality) I personally think that the whole "haters gonna hate" is like a little kid saying "your wrong because your a doodie head" or a Senator saying "Your wrong because your a *******" (fill in the ****** with what ever you want, its never real anyway)
enough griping and trying to make a point.... On with the pony slaying! *grabs a sword and stalks off silently towards where the rest of the troops are dealing with ponies*

I'm pickin' up whatcher puttin' down, love. All good points. From your terminology I'd almost wonder if you were a philosophy or psych major. I remember "The Straw Man" argument and "Character Assassination" being 2 of the 13 logical failings in arguments I had to learn back in 'the day'. "Haterz gunna hate" carries roughly the same weight with me in conversation as it seems it does to you, basically that upon hearing it, my brain stamps the file with the speaker's picture on it as "Moron- juvenile opinions with little thought behind them. Disregard."
As to the rest, agreed. *taps Commander on her head* There's work to do, soldier, ponies to kill and blood to spill. Hop to!

"Ze Scorpions are here in Hungary, because we hear you are 'hungary' for metal!" *laughs* Thank you, love. I hadn't thought of it quite like that, but I can see your point.
As to the "hatin" ...ugh... I can only hope you're right. It's just so very belittling and simplistic a response. Very unworthy of an adult's use. When someone disagrees with you, it's because they're a person who just exists to passionately dislike things beyond reason? Referring to one who holds a dissenting opinon as a "hater" is just... ugh... anypoop. *throws a spoon*
"Trust in Coyote, for he is wise..."

Long story short, hubby and I were taking care of an old man, who recently was evicted from the duplex attached to ours. Daughter is now ticked off at us trying to say it is our fault that DCF was called and was trying to threaten us. But things were solved and we are glad to be rid of them.
Eh, I'm not sure I agree with the translation into childish.
The word 'just' in the lengthier version means that, in my eyes, it should be less 'You're wrong because you're mean!' and more 'You're just saying that to be mean!' - the difference being that the first is a fallacy (Ad Hominem is still a fallacy when the other guy is truly a bad guy) while the second is an accusation that they are not participating in the discussion, instead relying on turning the audience against the other party. Shit-flinging, if you will.
You make it sound more defense than it is (I'm not necesarily saying it's a good argument, but if you're going to dispute it, at least dispute what they're saying ('You're not even trying, you're just being a jerk for the sake of being a jerk') and not what you would prefer to respond to)
