Older generation stuff comes from ebay,flea markets,thrift stores, my childhood and some are gifts from friends who can't make kandi.
The newer generation stuff I can find at Walmart,Toys r us, Target and Kmart.

I'm willing to spend some money makeing my cuffs. Some of them can be weeks to months in planning while I gather up all my pieces. Snorlax was nearly 2 years in the makeing while I was waiting to find some food beads.
We do get some increddible deals sometimes. We got a tub of 200+ figures at our local flea market for .50 cents.
