As far as the cat head, I think it looks fine. The only thing I see wrong, really, is that nothing is in proportion to each other.

That's all I can spot. I think, overall, it looks good. Perhaps you could pick up some good inking pens as well.

Used the buggers I use for architectural drawings (and the pencils) as a result somewhat limited (getting the 0.35 to stop dribbling ink was a job and a half). Thanks for the advice.

Perspective isn't working for me so I think I'll stick to flat for a while before trying to go further

Hmmm. I'm not sure what brand pens you are using, though I am aware of drafting pens since I used them in school. I use Sakura Manga pens and also Prismatech pens. All are fixed width, with various sizes. Also, I have a Pentel brush pen (with real horse hair!) for strokes that require tapering (which requires a lot of practice itself.)
