Obi-Wan Dogobi Sketches
Just some cute little sketches of non-morphic/feral Obi-Wan I doodled up a while ago on a scrap piece of paper. First one is just Obi exhibiting that adorable bored, unimpressed body language dogs are so good at. He's probably just tired of babysitting Anakin jackal puppy for a while and listening to him squeak about how awesome he is. The sketch to the right side is just Anakin jackal puppy head tilting at Obi-Wan while Obi-Wan returns the same gesture. FUCKING ADORABLE.

If I were in charge of Anakin jackal puppy then he'd surely never have felt so driven to prove himself.
On the other hand I'd be so obsessed with cuddling him that he'd feel positively smothered by the relationship and would break out in violent rebellion to the severe detriment of society, which kinda goes to show that you can't cheat your destiny.

Poor Ani, though he could be annoying as shit, I think a lot of his issues stemmed from fear of abandonment and, obviously, loss. Well, and arrogance. That had a BIG part to play in it. I'm sure that having come from a loving relationship with his mother, the emotionally distant companionship of the Jedi Order would have felt very cold. I'm sure it was upsetting and hard to get used to. I guess that's why I like to draw a more fatherly Obi-Wan. Plus, I think that's pretty well within his character anyway.

Oh yes. I have a GSD mix, and they are NOTORIOUSLY good at giving that particular look, and mine is a natural. I know the pain, really I do. Someone just needs to give Obi a pet on the head, something special for dinner, and a blanket to sleep on, and he'll be good.
