I was scared out of my mind to start oils, but I eventually bit the bullet and tried. I was able to create this image in less than a day, but my lack of experience in oils was pretty humbling. If I want to take my career seriously I need to familiarize myself with more traditional paints, and fast!

I love it how you defined the weapons!
If I can suggest a thing - add some highlights from the light in eyes onto the face and chest. It's going to make a bright spot to counterweight the bright background on the right and make the big brown spot of his chest more varied! (I actually checked this in photoshop and I think it works nice :P)
