A display box I made for a Vietnam vet this past week.

All cell cast acrylic, used #5 Weld-On, super clear and strong welds. No alignment pins needed for the door, it lines up at 90° and snaps closed on magnets perfectly.

The hat is sitting on a small shelf supported by a long, thin, elegant gusset that is otherwise not visible when the hat is inside.

Spent about 3 times the quoted labour working on it, sorta felt obligated (probably it was some Patriotism slipping in, with a good dose of appreciation for his duty).
