It makes one wonder, what if Discord DID do this just after the mane cast headed off for the maze?

Would this single move have meant total victory for Discord?

Or would someone else have come up with the idea to send the friendship reports to Twilight in Celestia's abscence, or a completely different plan to help her, altogether?

The world may never know.
