I've been intrigued more and more by Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas ever since I browsed videos of both games on YouTube. So far, I've only played the Tranquility Lane level of Fallout 3 (namely because I mentioned how messed-up it is and a friend offered me the chance to try it out). But my intrigue is there nonetheless. So I decided to do something Fallout-oriented, perhaps something of that delightful icon Vault Boy?

But hey, you know me and my weakness for crossover stuff. So I just randomly conjured the mental image of "Vaultpets!", a retelling of Fallout 3 where various Housepets! characters escape from Vault 101 and move onward on the surface. Here, I included Peanut, Grape and King done in the same style as three Vault Boy poses. I also did a variation of the PLEASE STAND BY telescreen for the background. It turned out MUCH better than I thought it would.

The whole time, I listened to “Dear Hearts and Gentle People” by Bob Crosby & The Bobcats (the song in the Fallout 3 Vault-Tech trailer). It was awesome.
