The idea struck -and overwhelmed - me while I was preparing an installment of a fan-fic DIVERGENCE to be mailed to a friend. It will be a "Director's Cut" insert. I paged through the Book of Illusions to find the exact name of the phenomena, but it would NOT show up. Not the first time I've been screwed by my memory, but at least THIS time I did find what I looked up.
At first I did not know WHERE to look, as my sourse had let me down, but I checked the wiki, DevArt and here. All 3 helped. The insert can now be written !

The concept of the Uncanny Valley I found in a book on -Robotics, describing our instinctual unease at seeing something that should not look or be human, but looks it. In a fan-fic I wrote, it was a place, an unending abyss where a character from Wonderland managed to break into - OUR world.
