I am in love with this lame-ass photo.
When you live and work with dogs, you are the target
of constant practical jokes.
If you paint something, it'll be checked with hair in minutes.
If you clean the carpet, expect muddy paw prints instantly.
Those socks you left on the floor? Gone.
That new tub of butter on the counter? Licked clean.
Your pool filter will be clogged with dog hair and your black
sweater will be a furry rainbow before you leave the house.
And- If you compose the perfect sunset picture a tail will
automatically make its way into the view finder.
Magnolia hates to pose for pictures, but she doesn't want to be
left out of them, either. I tried a dozen times to get a perfect
landscape shot, only to have a dog ear or tail sneak in to every one.
And I love it!
Dogs remind us to have fun, act a little silly, and
not take life so durn serious. What a gift.
All they ask for in return is love.
Next time your dog slips the leash and jumps into that
fountain in the park, don't be upset.
Take off your shoes and go paddling, too.
Life is short. You gotta' stick your tail in the air and have fun...

Once again your outlook on life and associated philosophy brings a big smile to my face. Thank you for reminding to not take things so serious - and that my dog is there to teach me these lessons - if only I were a better student.
I'm gonna go hug my dog right now - and ignore the hair on the floor until tomorrow. :3

*waggwagg* Haha, Lame? NEVER! I love this photo for it's mix of natural beauty and silly canine antics! It's adorable! True are all the things you mentioned about having tail wielding pack mates yet we love them for it. 12 more days before we can reproduce this photo with collie/wolf and/or Sheppard tails! hehe *nuzzlehugs*
