A pic for those who need help with inside ratty mouths.
This is Agent Strahm, who does fantastic yawns. At the back of his mouth on the left of the pic, you can see his back teeth, which is rare to see, even in a yawn pic.
Its amazing how wide these guys can open their mouths! Good thing Strahm is a gentle sweet boy.

At the moment, I only have Hoffman, Perez and Agent Strahm. Hoffman is old, came from an abusive home and used to bite. He's very sweet now, though.
I the past I have had a Zep and a Jigsaw and a Lawrence (after dr gordon, who I used to like before saw 7) I think thats it.

having been nibbled and bitten by rats, I know just how gentle and how strong those little jaws can be. (my rescued boy had issues with fingers...but he did get better, just not before biting me and not wanting to let go on two different occasions)

Yeah, they can be soooo gentle considering the size of their teeth. But when you get a serious bite from one, thats just horrible. I honestly think I'd rather be bitten by a dog or cat than a rat. Rat bites are so deep. They go the whole length of their bottom teeth! I have several scars. Fortunately, they don't like to bite so its rare!
