A free art offered through my twitter for
aeto and his latest character Gilrandree.
I was planning on experiment with a new style and I lack of a "test subject" so I offer free art to anyone who willing to be that test subject.
(Sorry if I made him too angry hehe).
Now speaking about the style a bit, I've been urge to try this style for aged since I'm always a big fans of werewolf arts and most of it are in this 2 tones style. (Am I call it correctly?)
In my case, I'm not really aim for strong 2 tones so I tweak and make it soft a bit.
I had quite a problem with rendering the arm, beside that I'm kinda happy with the result, better than I though it would be!
Feel free to point out what I should improve :)
P.S I fix things a bit please Ctrl+F5

Actually, I'm not sure I like the black part in the lower right. There's too much juxtaposition of the gothic high key trees in the upper left, and then the big wash of black in the lower right. I do like the general idea - I am just having a mildly negative gut reaction to how it actually came out.
Yay, actual criticism from a furaffinity user! ;)

Technically speaking, he's a "demon beast," though not really something from Disney. In fact, he's a variety of African beasts, canine, feline, and prey.
Based on the costume in http://aeto.chameleon.net/main.php/v/gilrandree

The predator/prey fusion is cool. :)
I don't mean that the idea was copied from Disney, but this is the third horned canine I've come across on FA, and Disney's Beast is the most prominent recent archetype. (One was
RrowdyBeast's fursona, and he's a big fan of the Disney Beast, which evidently inspired him. The name of the other horned canine I can't remember now.)

So, as a critique, there is one thing I notice as I look at it... The eyes seem almost too small, and kind of beady. It really captures the "fierce beast" beautifully, but something in that looks off.
I only say this because you asked for comments in this regard. He looks wonderfully fierce in that piece, and while I sometimes think I'd like to meet my "demons," not so much when he's in that mood. :>
Thanks again! Beautiful evil!
