This was a random gift out of absolutely nowhere--the story is that I left a shout on kai-phan's page, and one of her watchers, f4ntasieee, saw it. f4ntasieee then followed it to my page, and randomly offered to give me some gift art of my novel, The Afflicted. How could I say no to that? I am blown away by the generosity of the offer, and flattered and honored to have received the attention. Thank you!
Here, then, is Girard, looking as cantankerous and thin as ever. Those were the two main traits I mentioned in his description, and f4ntasieee captured them perfectly, especially with that expression.
